Situated in picturesque Perthshire, this luxurious but comfortable 4-bedroom steading conversion sits in a peaceful setting on the banks of the River Tay. The river, famous for its fishing, is accessed directly from the house down a short path. The property is well-maintained and spacious, and features disabled access to the ground floor, which includes a double bedroom with en-suite bath and walk-in shower cubicle.
Perthshire is perfect for an outdoor holiday, with fantastic scenery for walkers, birdwatchers and cyclists, and with excellent opportunities for shooting, fishing and golf.
The house is only an hour from the championship course at St Andrews and 25 minutes from Gleneagles. There are also a number of beautiful golf courses close by at Dunkeld, Pitlochry, Crieff and Blairgowrie.
Luxuriously appointed throughout to provide a contemporary but comfortable accommodation, this property comprises 2 double bedrooms, both with en-suite facilities, and 2 twin rooms. A major feature is the “round lounge” with polished wood floors, where you can relax in leather sofas after a long day exploring all that Perthshire has to offer.
The house has a large, bright kitchen/dining/lounge area. Guests can meet, relax and watch the flow of the River Tay and the eagles it attracts, from the picture window. There is a large island for cooking and food preparation, and this modern kitchen has integrated dishwashers, electric induction hob, refrigeration and fan ovens. Just off the kitchen is a utility room with washing and drying facilities and an area for storing boots and wet jackets.
Our private gardens feature an outside eating area and a garage for storing fishing rods, etc. There is a barbecue for your use, bikes, and toys for children.
Change over day is (typically) Sunday, but please note this can be flexible.
